We are a group of caring individuals in Rhodes under the name Catopia Rhodes, living on the island, deeply moved by the plight of these innocent felines. Our mission is simple yet profoundly impactful: to provide the care and support these cats need to live healthy, happy lives. Greece and its beautiful islands, like Rhodes, are home to countless stray, abandoned, and feral cats.

Takis Shelter
Set up over seven years ago, and with the sole purpose of rescuing the stray, abandoned animals of Crete, Takis Shelter currently cares for over 400 dogs and cats. Based in Lerapetra, in the south of Crete, the rescued dogs and cats have up to 33,000 square meters of private, enclosed olive groves to run around in. With very few people willing to help, there are still an overwhelming number of stray cats and dogs in the south that need rescuing.

GASAH – Greek & Swiss Animal Help
We are committed to the animals of Kos where our hands-on charity work is carried out. Here we are active in various areas. Our focus areas are homeless animals, tethered “farm” animals, law enforcement and raising awareness among the population. Switzerland is where most of our fundraising events and administrative work is done. Our helpers on Kos and in Switzerland, as well as the website and social network maintainer, help us on a voluntary basis.

Animal Aid Kythira
Animal Aid Kythira AMKE is a non-profit organization set up in 2021 with the goal of providing aid and protection to all creatures in need on the island of Kythira. Our volunteers dedicate their time freely and we keep our overheads to a minimum, so that all donations are used for their intended purpose.
We work closely with Kythira's only vet, Katherine Stathatos, and the local municipality, to provide a safe and comfortable environment for all animals in need and to promote animal welfare throughout the island.
Naxos Animal Rescue Society
Our society is made up of a group of people who care about the welfare of stray and badly treated animals on Naxos. We formed a society because the efforts of individuals were not enough to solve all the problems. Together, as a group, we hope that we can do better for animals.
